In the first three months of '08, 14 million domain names were added to the internet, according to the first quarter 2008 Domain Name Industry Brief published by VeriSign — via MarketingCharts. That's a 17 percent increase over the fourth quarter of 2007, and 15 percent over the year-earlier period.
